Abigail Watson
Abby discovered scuba diving in 2025 and was hooked almost immediately. What started as a new adventure quickly became a passion for exploring the underwater world and experiencing the incredible sense of peace that comes with being beneath the surface. For Abby, every dive is a chance to slow down, explore somewhere new, and never quite know what might swim by next. She started her dive education training with Carolina Dive Locker, and went on to earn her Divemaster certification. As a Divemaster, Abby loves sharing her enthusiasm for diving with others. She especially enjoys helping divers feel relaxed and confident in the water so they can focus less on their nerves and more on enjoying the adventure.
When she isn’t underwater, Abby serves as Vice President of Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina—a career that makes escaping beneath the waves an especially welcome change of scenery! An avid outdoorswoman, she is happiest when she’s outside and especially loves fishing, spending time on the boat, and hunting. Her love of the water and
adventure has also given her another reason to travel, including a recent liveaboard trip exploring the beautiful waters of the Turks and Caicos.
Whether it’s a colorful reef, an unexpected marine-life encounter, a day of fishing, or simply the peaceful sound of bubbles rising toward the surface, Abby is always ready for the next
adventure. For her, diving isn’t just about what you see underwater-it’s about adventures, friendships, and unforgettable memories you bring back to the surface.
