Ravenel Training Quarry is a Freshwater Quarry used by local divers for dive training and enjoyment.  Carolina Dive Locker purchased and placed numerous cement statues for a navigation course, built and submerged a wooden platform in the lake for skills training.  The Quarry is aproximatly 20' deep throughout the quarry with a 28' deep trench near the northern shore and a freediving hole that drops  34' at its deepest point on the eastern end.
